Meltwater Opens Office In Hyd Marking Global R&D Expansion

Hyderabad: Meltwater, which is into media, social and consumer intelligence, opened its new office in here on Tuesday. This is its 4th branch in India and part of a network spanning over 50 locations worldwide. The local office is poised to become the company’s emerging AI hub, spearheading advancements in artificial intelligence fostering local tech talent, and expanding its global R&D presence.

Building on two decades of AI expertise, the company analyses 1.5 billion pieces of content daily transforming them into vital insights to help its 27,000 customers around the world to make data-informed business decisions.

The office here is the second global R&D centre that the company has launched in just four months, following the opening of its Mexico City office. In a short span of three months, the company has conducted two hiring drives in city, interviewing over 250 candidates and building a team of 20 with plans to double in Q1 2025. This rapid growth is fuelled by the company's active collaboration within the city’s tech ecosystem, recruiting top talent from premier institutions such as IIIT Hyderabad and IITs nationwide.

The company has also engaged with leaders from Nasscom, T-AIM, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (ITE&C) led by Jayesh Ranjan, and other GCC leaders, further strengthening its presence in this thriving innovation hub.
